First Edition, Hardback. Handsomely bound in orange cloth with bright gilt pictorial and titles to the front and gilt titles to the spine. The spine shows a little wear to the top and base but overall the binding is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear. This one comes complete with a pictorial dustjacket which is unusual to find. The dustjacket is bright and clean despte a little foxing although does show a piece missing to the top of the spine. The decorative endpapers show no previous owner's book plates or inscriptions and the pages are very clean throughout. The text block is tight with no loose pages. Beautifully illustrated with 12 full page colour plates each with their own printed tissue guards and each complete and in very good condition. pp. 256. Overall a beautiful copy. Would make an ideal gift.
