Hardback. 1917 New Impression. Complete with a dustjacket with spider web detail to the front. In good condtion despite some discoloration and a small piece missing to the top of the spine. Underneath lie paper covered boards with the spider web design repeated to the front board. The boards show a little bumping and wear to the corners, however they are generally in a clean bright condition. The spine has a piece missing to the top and a little creasing to the base. There is foxing to the front endpapers, prelims and occasionally throughout, however the pages are generally clean. Beautifully illustrated with 24 full page colour plates each with their printed tissue guards. pp. x + 36. Overall a lovely copy.
