Hardback. Beautiful copy bound in rich blue leather with gilt ruled borders and gilt decoration and red title band to the spine. The leather is rich and vibrant with very little wear, minor fading to the spine. All edges of the text block and endpapers are marbled with no book plates or inscriptions to the endpapers. There is a previous owner's neat inscription dated 1903 to one of the prelims. The rest of the pages are beautifully clean, and illustrated by the renown artist Arthur Rackham. pp. viii + 628. Overall a stunning copy in near fine condition.
