Hardback. Handsome copy bound in full rich green leather with decorative gilt borders, ornate gilt decoration and red title band to the spine. The leather is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear despite fading to the spine and a little off-setting to the front and rear. Internally the text block is tight with no loose pages. The marbled endpapers how no previous owner's book plates or inscriptions, there is a neat large inscription to one of the prelims, however. The rest of the pages are clean throughout. pp. xv + 430. Overall a good copy.
