Hardback. A beautifully presented book bound in rich navy leather with gilt decoration, gilt titles to the front and spine. In a lovely clean condition with just a little edge wear, the spine is lightly sunned although the gilt remains fairly bright. All edges of the text block are in gilt. Blue patterned endpapers with gilt dentelles to the paste downs with no book plates or inscriptions. The pages are clean throughout with just the occasional thumb mark. Beautifully illustrated with tipped in colour plate opposite the first chapter and several illustrations in silhouette by Arthur Rackham. pp. 110. Overall a beautiful book.
