Hardback. A beautiful copy complete with the dustjacket. The dustjacket is in good condition despite a little fading to the spine, the pictorial paper onlay to the front clean and brightt. Underneath lie brown cloth boards with bright gilt pictorial and titles to the front in excellent condition with no fading and miminal wear. There is a previous owner's book plate to the front free endpaper with the very occasional spot of foxing throughout, otherwise the pages are very clean. Beautifully illustrated with 16 full page colour plates, each present and in very good condition, and several black and white line drawings within the text and some full page. pp. 320. Overall a superb copy. Would make an ideal gift.
