Hardback, A very good first edition thus of Anthony Buckeridges' humourus escapades of JCT Jennings and co. The pictorial dustjacket is clean and bright with just a little wear to the extremities. Underneath lie red cloth boards with printed titles in black to the spine in very good condition, minor edge wear. The top edge of the text block is coloured red and is still quite bright. There ia previous owner's ink stamp to the front free endpaper and the very occasional spot of foxing otherwise a good clean copy. Illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece. pp. 256. Overall a good copy.
