Large volume bound in pale moire silk and quarter leather with gilt titles, very bold, to the spine. The pages are luxurious Abbey Pure paper, clean, with paintings and illustrations throughout by Delacroix. The slipcase is durable with Delacoix's painting to one side and a small indentation to the other side. Introduction by Nicholas Boyle and the translation is by David Luke. pp.380. Very good.
