Hardback, published in 1769. Rebound in green cloth with red title band to the spine. All edges of the text block are gilt with marbled endpapers. The text is double columned. The binding is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear while the gilt to the text block is still fairly bright. There is a large amount of pen notation to the prelims and to the rear with pen inscription and small label to the verso of the front free endpaper. The title page has a small piece missing to the top right hand side as well as a signature. There is a little notation to the margin of the text. The pages, however are generally very clean. Overall a handsome copy.
