Hardback. Translated by Robert Fagles with an introduction and notes by Bernard Knox. Handsomely bound in quarter green leather with pictorial cloth boards in very good condition. There is no wear or fading to the cloth or leather. Housed in a green slipcase which is clean and shows minimal wear. The top coloured edge has faded. Endpapers featuring Homeric Geography The Peloponnese, are free of any bookplates or inscriptions and the rest of the pages are beautifully clean, illustrated by Grahame Baker. pp. lxxxiv + 493. Overall a very good copy. Would make a perfect gift.
