Hardback. Limited Edition Copy of only one hundred copies, this is copy 32. Quarter bound in vellum with rich green cloth sides with small gilt pictorial and titles to the front. There is a slight abrasive mark to the front and a little surface wear to the rear otherwise the cloth is clean and bright and in good condition. Corners lightly bumped. The vellum has darkened with a small piece missing from the base of the spine. The top edge of the text block is gilt and the fore-edge is untrimmed. Internally the text block is tight with no loose pages. There is a book plate and a small presentation label on the front paste-down. Light pencil notation to the front endpapers, occasionally throughout and towards the rear. The pages are generally clean despite the occasional spot of foxing. Illustrated with several plates, all present, including some photogravure. The plates are generaly clean with the exception of the photogravure which are slightly foxed. pp. xvi + 351. Overall a good copy. Scarce in this edition.
