Hardback, Fourth Edition. Edited by J. Norman Lockyer and revised by Richard A. Proctor. Handsomely bound in full tan leather with ornate gilt tooling and green title band to the spine. The leather is rubbed and worn especailly to the extremities although the gilt to the spine is still quite bright. All edges of the text block are gilt. Marbled endpapers with previous owner's bookplate to the front paste-down. The page are lightly toned with slight foxing to the prelims and towards the rear, however, they are generally clean throughout, illustrated. pp. xii + 432. Overall a good copy.
