Hardback with an introduction by Edmund Gosse and the beautiful illustrations of Arthur Rackham. Bound in rich navy cloth with gilt pictorials and black printed titles to the front, gilt titles to the spine. The cloth is in good condition despite a little fading along the fore-edge and to the spine. The text block is tight with no loose pages. Pictorial endpapers with a previous owner's bookplate to the front paste-down. There is some foxing throughout, although the text is still legible and the foxing does not affect the plates. Illustrated with several monochrome line drawings within the text as well as 12 full-page colour plates, each with its tissue guards. pp. xxii + 122. Overall a lovely copy.
