First edition Jane Austen double edition, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, published 1850 with half leather binding. Beautiful blue marbling to the boards with gilt titles and star flowers to the spine. Rubbing to boards, especially the spine although the gilt is still bright. Neat, curious incsription to the front pasted down endpaper. Pages are complete, none missing, with foxing throughout, emminently readable copy wth no big marks or stains. Binding strong. pp.288. Good overall with very grubby, worn boards, still functional.
