Large box set with the complete four volumes written by Churchill, descendant of the 1st Duke of Marlborough. Bindings in uniform burgundy cloth embossed with Marlborough's double eagle crest and coat of arms, also to the side of the slipcase. Top of the text blocks dyed burgundy, a nice touch. Internally black and white portrait illustrations alongside clean pages, sharp. Slipcase has some streaky stains inside, clean outside. Volume I introduction by Maurice Ashley pp.x+447, Volume II pp.x+463, Volume III pp.x+431, Volume IV pp.x+558. Very good.
