Hardback. Handsome presentation copy bound in full leather with gilt ruled borders, decorative gilt tooling and black title band to the spine. There is a little surface wear although the leather is generally in good condition, light fading to the spine with slight off-setting to the rear. All edges marble. Marbled endpapers with presentation label to the front paste down. The binding is tight and while there is a little foxing to the prelims the pages are generally clean. With illustrated frontispiece of Samuel Rogers. pp. viii + 318. Overall a good copy.
