Hardback. Two volumes bound into one book. Handsomely bound in rich blue leather with double gilt ruled borders to the sides, ornate gilt tooling and red title band between five raised bands to the spine. The leather is still vibrant despite a little surface wear while there is slight fading to the spine. All edges are marbled. Marble endpapers with presentation label to the front paste down dated 1866. The binding is tight and the pages are clean despite foxing to the prelims and towards the rear. pp. vii + 295. Overall a very good copy.
