Underneath lie black cloh boards which are a little faded along the top edge especailly to the top of the spine. There is a previous owner's inscription to the front free endpaper. The rest of the pages are clean throughout with just the very occasional spot of foxing/toning. Illustrated with black and white photographc plates. pp. xv + 271.
