Hardback. Handsomely bound in red cloth with decorative embossed detail to the boards, gilt decoration and titles to the spine. The binding is in good condition despite a little bumping to the corners and darkening to the spine. All edges are gilt and still failry bright. Yellow endpapers with a previous owners' book plate to the front paste down. Beautifully illustrated double page frontispiece. The pages are slightly toned however clean throughout. pp. viii + 182 + publishers' page. Overall a good copy, scarce in this edition.
