The Hakluyt Handbook provides a reference guide to the works of Reverend Richard Hakluyt (1552-1616) and a critical evaluation of his achievements as a collector, editor, translator and author of travel literature. Both are hardback bound in light blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and a gilt illustration on the front cover. Fold out map in the back of vol. I. Both are in very good condition with clean, bright pages and strong binding, and both dust jackets are also in very good condition, with some minor wear to the extremities. pp. 707 in total.
