Three volume set of Shakespeare's complete works, very handsomely bound in bugundy half leather. Intricate gilt work to the panels, raised bands partitioning them with extra gilt rulings to the title panels. Neat inscriptions dated 1876 and 1958. Internally, the pages are clean, light foxing, a few pencil marks to the edges, stunning illustrations by Howard Staunton and engraved by Brothers Dalziel. Volume I: pp.lxviii+745, Volume II: pp.770, Volume III: lxviii+815. Good overall.
