Hardback. 1940 reprint with the original dust jacket. The illustrated dustjacket is worn to the extremties, however the front cover is clean and bright. Not price clipped. Underneath lie cloth boards with printed titles and pictorial to the front and spine. In very good condition with just a little shelf wear to the top and base of the spine. The top edge is coloured blue and is very lightly faded with slight foxing to the fore edge. The pages are clean with just the very occasional spot of foxing, illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece and seven in monochrome. pp. 255. Overall a good copy. When several British ships disappear in the Indian Ocean, Biggles, and his friends, Algy, Lacey and Ginger are called in to investigate. Scarce to find with the original dust jacket.
