The binding is in very good condition despite a little fading to the spine and shelf wear to the top and base. Previous owner's inscription to the half title page and a thumb mark to the verso of the frontispiece, otherwise a nice, clean,bright copy. Illustrated with eight monochrome plates plus one map by Thomas Browne. pp. 373 + 16. Overall a very good copy.
