Hardback. Beautifully bound in a rich blue cloth with a pretty pictorial to the front and spine. The binding is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear. There is a slight lean and fading to the spine. Internally the binding is still fairly tight despite a little cracking to the hinges. Previous owner's inscription to the front free endpaper otherwise the pages are very clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece with tissue guard and several monochrome line drawings throughout. pp. vii + 448. Overall a lovely copy in good condition.
