Hardback. Handsomely bound in rich green cloth with printed pictorial and titles to the front and spine. The binding is in a good clean condition and shows just a little shelf wear to the top and base of the spine. Internally the text block is still fairly tight with no loose pages. There is a previous owner's neat inscription to the half title page dated 1912 otherwise the pages are very clean throughout. Illustrated with a full page monochrome frontispiece and a further eleven plates throughout. pp. vi + 383 +16. Overall a very good clean, sharp copy.
