Hardback. First Edition complete with the publisher's original dust jacket. Handsomely bound in orange cloth with a bright and clean pictorial front and spine. Minor shelf wear to the top and base of the spine otherwise the binding is in very good condition. The pictorial dust jacket is worn with a piece missing to the base of the spine and towards the rear. However, it is present and unusual to find. There is a previous owner's inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1912. The pages within are very clean despite the occasional spot of foxing. Illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece and a further five throughout. pp. 363. Overall a very good clean, sharp copy.
