Hardback. Second edition with 32 illustrations published in 1925. Beautifully bound in blue cloth with embossed design and printed titles to the front and spine. The binding is in a good clean condition and shows very little wear. The spine has slightly darkened with a little shelf wear to the top and base. Internally the text block is still fairly tight depite the frontispiece being a little loose. Pages 173 to 176 have been cropped along the top edge. The pages are generally clean although lightly foxed throughout. Beautifully illustrated. pp. ix + 196. Overall a good copy of Black's popular series.
