The cloth is a little faded with wear to the extremities, otherwise in good condition. Internally the text block is weak with cracking to the hinge, frontispiece is loose. Previous owner's inscription to the top of the title page dated 1906. The rest of the pages are lightly toned with the ocasional thumb mark and foxing, otherwise a clean copy. Beautifully illustrated with the original drawings throughout. pp. xiv + 562. Overall a lovely copy.
