Hardback. Travels Into Several Remote Nations Of The World more widely known as Gulliver's Travels. Beautifully bound in rich green cloth with ornate gilt decoration to the front, gilt titles and vignette to the spine. In overall good condition with the front board still bright and clean, minor bumping to the corners. There is slight fading and wear to the spine and light surface wear to the rear. All edges are bright gilt. Internally the text block is still failry tight despite a little cracking to the hinges. There is a previous owner's inscription to the verso of the frontispiece which has slightly seeped through onto the frontispiece. There is some foxing throughout, however, the pages are generally very clean. Beautifully illustrated throughout by C.E. Brock. pp. xxx + 381 + 2. Overall a beautiful book.
