Hardback. First Edition Thus. Beautifully bound in rich blue cloth with gilt titles and gilt peacock to the front and spine. In good condition with the boards still bright and clean, minor bumping to the corners. The spine has lightly faded with shelf wear to the top and base. All edges are gilt and still bright. Yellow peacock endpapers with no book plates or inscriptions. The pages are very clean throughout with no foxing or further inscriptions. Beautifully illustrated frontispiece with toned tissue guard, with several more illustrations throughout. pp. xxii + 326. Overall a lovely copy.
