Hardback. Bound in the publisher's original green cloth with ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. The binding is in a good clean, bright condition and shows very little wear. The spine, however, has lightly faded. All edges of the text block are gilt. Internally the binding is still fairly tight despite cracking to the hinges. Slight foxing to the prelims otherwise a good clean copy, with the beautiful illustrations of Hugh Thomson. pp. xiii + 120. Overall a lovely copy.
