Hardback. Third impression published the same year as the first but showing the publisher's whole address. Handsomely bound in rich green cloth with printed pictorial and titles to the front. Gilt titles to the spine. The binding is generally in good condition despite some wear especially to the spine. The front board and spine are loosely attached to the text block. Adverts to the front endpapers although the front free endpaper is missing. Previous owner's ink stamp to the half title page. The pages are clean despite the occasional spot of foxing and thumb mark. Beautifully illustrated by A. Fredericks. pp. 315 + 2. A must for any fan. jerome K.
