Hardback. New Edition with 200 illustrations by F.A. Fraser. Handsomely bound in full black cloth with bright gilt titles to the front and spine. The cloth is in a bright clean condition despite a little fading to the front. Slight shelf wear to the top and base of the spine. Internally the binding is firm with no loose pages. The pages are a little toned although clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with a full page monochrome frontispiece, with toned tissue guard and vignette to the title page. There are several more line drawings within the text. pp. xvi + 495 + 32. Overall a superb copy.
