Hardback. Bound in the publisher's original green cloth with pretty pictorial and gilt titles to the front. The binding is in good condition although a little dulled. The spine has faded with wear to the exremities. All edges are bright gilt. The front and rear free endpaper have been strengthened with the old laid over the new. Previous owner's signatures to the front endpapers and an inscription to the verso of the frontispiece. The pages are slightly toned with the occasional thumb mark although clean throughout. Beautifully illustrated with a full page colour frontispiece and several in monochrome throughout. pp. xiii + 216. Overall a lovely copy.
