Hardback. Half rebound by Townley of Bolton, in tan leather with marble paper covered boards. The binding is rubbed and worn with some loss to the extremities. Internally the text block is still fairly tight. The pages are toned, as expected with the books age, with closed tears to a few of the pages towards the rear. Staining to the prelims and towards the rear with the occasional ink notation, ink inscription to the top of the first page. Title page is missing and a few of the pages have been miscut either from the top or from the base. Overall an interesting copy.
