Hardback. Beautifully bound in full rich brown cloth with ornate decoration to the front. In overall good condition despite a little wear to the spine and corners. All edges gilt and still bright. There is a little cracking to the gutter, however the text block is still fairly tight. Previous owner's neat pencil signature to one of the prelims and neat ink inscription to the title page. There is the occasional pencil notation otherwise a very good clean copy. Beautifully illustrated half title page with frontispiece portrait of William Wordsworth with several more illustrations throughout. pp. xxiv + 548 + 8. Overall a beautiful copy.
