The original pictorial dust jacket designed by Richard Chopping is chipped and worn to the extremities with a large piece missing to the spine. Not price clipped. Original black cloth boards in good condition with the gilt to the front still bright and the titles to the spine still sharp. The top edge is foxed with minor foxing to the fore-edge. Wood-effect endpapers with a small pencil signature to the front free end-paper. Library ink stamps to the prelims, the last one on the contents page. The pages, otherwise are clean throughout. pp. 256. Overall a good copy. Set eight months after the murder of his wife, James Bond is drinking and gambling heavily. He is sent on a mission to Japan as a last resort and challenged by the Japanese secret servce to kill Dr Guntram Shatterhand, Blofeld's alias, and the man responsible for the death of James Bond's wife.
