First Edition paperback. The card covers show some creasing with a little wear to the extremities. Internally the binding is tight with no loose pages. The pages are lightly toned although clean throughout, illustrated with several black and white photographic images. pp. 263. Overall a good copy. Born with two gamy legs, Michael "Bing" Crosby's youthful desire to join the services was not met with much enthusiam but at the outbreak of war, he was able to take advantage of oversights and rushed procedures.
