Hardback. Fifth Edition revised throughout and slightly enlarged. Bound in the publisher's original burgundy cloth with gilt titles to the spine. The front and rear boards are generally in good condition despite a little fading, corners lightly bumped. The spine is lightly faded with slight surface wear. The front free endpaper is missing. The binding is still fairly tight despite a little cracking to the internal hinge. The pages are clean throughout with just a little foxing to the prelims and endpapers. All folding maps are present and intact. pp. xxiv + 659 + 4. Overall a good copy.
