Vivid red full leather with gilt crest embossed beautifully on the front, double ruled gilt edges and highly deorative gilt panels to the spine. The gilt work is bright, shiny. Also really great marbling to all edges of the text block and endpapers. Prize bookplate dated 1906. Athena for the frontispiece with furher classical illustrations. Pages clean, tight binding. Top edge of the spine has been rubbed away.pp.viii+320. Very good.
