Hardback First Edition. Bound in the publisher's original green cloth with printed titles in black to the front. The boards are a little worn with bumping to the base of the rear board. The spine has faded with a piece of cloth missing along the top edge. There is a previous owner's inscription to the front free endpaper with cracking to the gutters. The rest of the pages are lightly toned although clean, illustrated with several black and white photographic plates. pp. 309. Overall a fair copy.
