Hardback. A First Edition copy of Enid Blyton's Five On A Treasure Island with later dust jacket. The pictorial dust jacket is in good condition despite wear and closed tears to the extremities and slight discolouration to the rear. Underneath lie blue cloth boards which are discolored and the cloth has split along the rear outer hinge of the spine. Internally the binding is weak with cracking to the gutter. Previous owner's large inscritpion to the front free endpaper. the rest of the pages are slightly toned and a few a re a little grubby although the text is legible and th epages are in good condtion. Vignette in monochrome to the half title and title page with a full page frontispiece and several more throughout. pp. 191. A scarce first edition copy.
