Housed in a lightly faded red slipcase The top edge of the text block is coloured red and is still bright while the fore edge remains clean. Rich red endpapers are illustrated with maps that show no inscriptions. The pages are clean throughout and illustrated with black-and-white photographic images. pp. 214. Overall a good copy. George Orwell's personal account of fighting in the Spanish Civil War.
