Hardback. First UK Edition. Translated from the French by Xan Fielding. The dust jacket with an illustrated design by Biro is worn with pieces missing. The front and rear cover's are lightly stained, although remain fairly clean and bright. Underneath lie red and black cloth boards which, despite a little shelf wear to the top and base of the spine are in good condition. The text block is tight with no loose pages with the top and fore-edge remaining clean. The first few pages show minor creases to the corners, however the rest of the pages are in good condition and clean throughout. pp. 487. Overall a good + copy.
