Hardback. Complete set in four volumes. Circa 1906. Fully illustrated. Original decorative blue cloth bindings with illustrations to the front board and spines. The set presents well overall but there is some discolouration to the cloth and wear to the extremities, particularly to the spines. There is a crease to the corner of volume two. Bindings tight and pages toned although clean, just a few scattered thumb marks and foxing.  A scarce set.  Vol 1 pp.224 Volume 2 pp. 215 Volume 3 pp. 216 Volume 4 pp. 200. The classic work on Association Football, one of the first major works of literature covering the game.
