Hardback First Edition with the green pictorial dust jacket variant. The dust jacket is in good condition showing just a little chipping to the top of the spine. It is, however foxed with light fading to the spine. Not price clipped. Underneath lie turquoise cloth boards with titles in silver to the front and spine. In very good condition with just minor bumping to the corners and light wear to the top of the spine. The endpapers are slightly foxed while the rest of the pages are clean. Beautifully illustrated with fifteen full page colour plates and several black and white line drawings throughout. pp. vii + 141. BB's collection of fairy tales combining the modern with the traditional interwoven with the narrative of two children encountering a magic hill. Overall a beautiful copy.
