Entirely New Edition Revised and Greatly Enlarged. Beautifully bound in cloth with a pictorial to the front and spine. There is a little fading to the spine but overall the binding is clean and in good condition. The text block is a lttle weak with cracking to the internal hinge. Previous owner's large purple inscription to the half title page. Adverts to the front and rear endpapers. The pages are a little toned although clean throughout. Illustrated with a large folding colour frontispiece plus several more colour plates as well many in monchrome and many line drawings within the text. pp. lxxxii + 568 + 2. Overall a beautiful copy.
