Hardback. Volume One, Third Edition, completey rewritten and re-arranged, March 1949. The pale blue dust jacket shows wear and small closed tears to the extremities. Otherwise in good condition and not price clipped. Underneath lie green cloth boards which are clean and show just light bumping to the corners and to the base of the spine. The pages within appear unread, illustrated including a "paper making machine" fold out. pp. xix + 375. An interesting copy.
