Elaborate gilt tooling and green title band lie between five raised bands to the spine. There is a little bumping to the corners with surface wear to the rear, light fading to the spine. The binding though is in very good condition with the leather still bright and vivid. All edges marble. Marbled endpapers with presentation label to the front paste down. There is cracking to the internal hinges however the text block remains quite firm. The pages are generally clean despite foxing especially to the prelims and towards the rear. pp. xxviii + 580. Overall a beautiful copy.
