Hardback. A two volume set housed in a blue cloth slip case. Both volumes are complete with their dustjacket's and are in near pristine condition. The dust jacket on hold fast shows a little surface wear to the rear. Half bound in navy leather with cloth sides with gilt coat of arms to the front. All edges are bright gilt. Rich blue marbled endpapers. Inscription from the author to the title page. The slip case shows minor fading but overall is in very good condition. A very handsome set that would make an ideal gift.
